Strength In Numbers Consulting Group (SiNCG) is a New York City-based firm providing program evaluation and research for progressive nonprofit organizations. We are a woman-owned, queer -friendly firm with a strong social justice mission. We encourage people from a diversity of backgrounds to apply. Because we are a small firm, the Research Associate will have significant research, project management, and administrative responsibilities. The Research Associate will have responsibility for day-to-day project management and research project tasks on multiple (10-12) projects. They will act as a liaison to client organizations by responding promptly to client and internal communications. They will assist with the creation of survey instruments and data collection, entry, management, and analysis, including SAS and SPSS programming. The Research Associate works closely with the President and the Senior Research Associate to determine progress towards SiNCG goals and to continuously assess and improve the SiNCG’s efficiency and effectiveness.Further, the Research Associate assists in the development of reports, trainings, and oral presentations. They also take meeting minutes as needed and work collaboratively with clients.

Strength In Numbers Presents at BoardSource Leadership Forum

Cathy Roche, Senior Research Associate at Strength In Numbers, was invited to speak at this year's BoardSource Leadership Forum. Cathy's presentation was titled "You Say PoTAHto: Culture and Conflict Resolution in the Boardroom." Board members and nonprofit leaders from across the country attended the session to learn more about board diversity assessment and evaluation. Attendees learned how a thoughtful board diversity policy can enhance the functioning of nonprofit boards.
